When to travel to Mexico?
The ideal time to travel to Mexico is from October to April, that is, during the dry season, which is sunny and little frequented by tourists. Easter holidays in particular are the best time to visit the capital, emptied of its inhabitants during Holy Week.
If you are heading to Mexico during the winter months, be prepared for chilly evenings in the higher up towns. Note that the weather is often cloudy, sometimes even rainy, in the Caribbean and Yucatán from December to February, with cool temperatures due to the north winds. Gear up accordingly!
Finally, if you are traveling on the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico coastlines, avoid the months of September and October, which are prone to cyclones!
